Sheltered in: Last Chance Animal Rescue

Rusty, aka Buddy-Boy, is an eight-year-old American Eskimo mix who is blind. He and his family, mom, dad and sister, were saved from a backyard breeder by Last Chance Animal Rescue. Rusty was in rough shape when he arrived, covered in fleas and with matted fur. He had trouble trusting humans. After he was completely vetted, treated and groomed, he went into a foster home. He was given a cozy place in which to settle. At first, Rusty was confused and panicked, but, after a week or so, started to relax. He met new friends, both furry and feathered and now loves toys and bones to chew. He was born blind, but this has not kept him from living his best life. This twenty-pound boy loves to run, explore and play with other pups and humans.
